John McEvoy started HP Roofing in 1969 with three roofers and a van. Fifty-seven years later the same family firm is still working on Dublin roofs, from slate on the Victorian terraces to concrete tile out in the suburbs, on homes and on commercial buildings across the city.

The crews are directly employed, not subcontracted. Every roofer holds a CSCS card, an in-house safety officer covers every site, and the work is supervised by people who have been here for decades. We cover fourteen counties from the yard in Crumlin, and you can see recent jobs here. That is why so much of our work still comes from people we roofed years ago, and the neighbours they sent our way.
