The system

What is a Paralon roof?

Paralon is a reinforced bitumen waterproofing system made by Moy Materials, a long-established roofing manufacturer. It is built up from layers of bitumen reinforced with fiberglass and bonded down into one continuous watertight covering, rather than overlapping sheets that can work loose.

It is lightweight, so it suits both new builds and refurbishments without loading the structure, and it is well suited to flat and low-pitch roofs on homes and commercial buildings. HP Roofing fits Paralon’s BBA-certified membranes to the manufacturer’s specification.

How we work

Our Paralon installation process

Every Paralon roof starts with a proper look at the deck, the falls, and the existing detailing so we fit the right build-up the right way. We agree on a fixed price in writing, prepare the deck, then bond down the reinforced layers into one continuous waterproof covering, dressing it neatly into upstands, outlets, and gutters. When it is done, you get the paperwork, the guarantee, and a roof built to perform for the long term.
