Trocal is a high-performance single-ply PVC membrane, and one of the longest-established single-ply names in Europe. It gets laid as one single layer over the roof deck. Every joint is then hot-air welded shut, melting the sheets into each other. That turns the whole roof into one watertight skin, rather than overlapping sheets that work loose. There are no glued laps to peel or lift.
Trocal is light and flexible, so it suits flat and low-pitch roofs without loading the structure. It can be specified for warm, cold, or inverted build-ups, on homes and commercial buildings alike. The welded membrane stands up to wind-driven rain and everything else an Irish roof takes. And because the surface is one sealed skin, there are far fewer weak points for weather.
