Why us

Why choose HP Roofing for Trocal

Trocal single-ply specialists

Our crews fit Trocal PVC membrane day in, day out, with every joint hot-air welded into a watertight seal. The detailing is what makes single-ply last, and it is what we get right.

Five decades on Irish roofs

A family firm since 1969, fitting flat roofs across Dublin on homes, extensions, and large commercial buildings. We know how a roof has to perform in our climate.

Skilled, safe, insured crew

CSCS-carded operatives, an in-house safety officer, and full insurance cover so the work is done properly and safely from the first day to the last.

The system

What is a Trocal roof?

Trocal is a high-performance single-ply PVC roofing membrane and one of the longest-established single-ply names in Europe. It is laid as a single layer over the roof deck and hot-air welded at every joint so the whole roof becomes one watertight skin rather than a set of overlapping sheets that can work loose.

It is light, flexible, and well suited to flat and low-pitch roofs, and it can be specified for warm, cold, or inverted roof build-ups on both homes and commercial buildings. The welded membrane stands up well to wind-driven rain and the kind of weather an Irish roof has to take

Adhered

The membrane is fully bonded to the substrate for a smooth, fixing-free finish with strong resistance to water.

Ballasted

Membrane laid loose and weighed down with gravel or stone, often used on flat commercial roofs.

Green Roof

A planted build-up over the membrane for a living roof, with drainage and aeration designed in.

How we work

Our Trocal installation process

Every Trocal roof starts with a proper look at the deck, the falls, and the existing detailing, so we fit the right system the right way. We agree on a fixed price in writing, prepare the deck, then lay the membrane and hot-air weld every joint into a continuous watertight skin, dressing it neatly into upstands, outlets, and gutters. When it is done, you get the paperwork, the guarantee, and a roof built to perform for the long term.
