A warmer home, lower heating bills, and no more cold rooms under the roof. We insulate attics, lofts and rafters with Kingspan rigid board or mineral wool, and because we’re roofers, we keep the ventilation right so you don’t trade heat for damp. A family firm in Dublin since 1969.

A big share of a home’s heat escapes straight up through an uninsulated or under-insulated roof. You feel it as cold rooms and pay for it on the heating bill.
Heat rises, and a poorly insulated roof lets a lot of it out. You end up heating air that disappears through the ceiling.
Insulation done badly, or stuffed into the eaves, blocks the airflow and traps moisture, which shows up as black mould and damp timber.
A room in the roof that never holds its heat usually needs proper insulation along the rafters, the sloping timbers, not just across the floor.
We pick the right method and material for your roof and fit it so it actually performs.
Most roof problems start small and quiet, then get expensive. If you have spotted any of these, it is worth getting them looked at before the next downpour.
We come out, get on the roof, and find exactly what is wrong.
You get a clear, itemised price. No call-out charge, no pressure.
Our own crew carries out the work, tidily and on the agreed date.
We show you what we did and stand over the work.
We look at the roof and attic, check the existing insulation and ventilation, and recommend the right method and material.
A clear written price for the work, with any grant question talked through honestly before you commit.
We fit the insulation to the right depth, insulate the tank and pipes, and keep the eaves vents clear as we go.
We make sure nothing’s compressed or blocking airflow, tidy up, and leave you the paperwork and workmanship cover.
A few recent repairs around Dublin. Real jobs, real homes.
Attic insulation is usually one of the best-value upgrades you can make, and it pays back in lower bills. Rafter insulation costs more because there’s more area and more work. What moves the price is the type of insulation, the area to cover, whether old material has to come out, and the access. An SEAI grant may be available for attic insulation, which can cover a good part of the cost. Use the calculator for a guide, then book a free survey, and we’ll put a fixed price in writing.

Yes. SEAI offers a grant towards attic insulation for homes built and occupied before 2011, and the work has to be done by an SEAI-registered contractor. Grant amounts and the rules change, so check the current details on the SEAI website and ask us whether your job qualifies.
Attic or loft insulation goes flat across the ceiling joists, keeping heat in the rooms below and leaving the attic cold. Rafter insulation follows the slope of the roof, so the attic itself stays warm and usable, which is what you want for a converted attic or room in the roof.
Spray foam can cause trouble when you sell or remortgage, because some lenders and surveyors are wary of it, especially when it’s sprayed onto the underside of the roof. We’ll give you honest advice on the right material for your home rather than push one product.
A good thick layer of mineral wool across the attic floor, laid to the depth current guidance recommends. The two things that matter most are not compressing it and not blocking the eaves vents so you get the warmth without trapping moisture. We’ll spec the right depth for your home.
Book a free, no-obligation inspection and we will tell you honestly what your roof needs.
